Christy + Justin | Wedding Sneak Peek

What more could be asked for? ...a gorgeous bride, a handsome groom, a beautiful antique antebellum venue {The Elms}, and one of THE best weather weekends we’ve had -  it all came together for a truly amazing wedding!!  We had such a great time with this adorable couple on their engagement session, and we knew their wedding was going to be nothing short of perfect!  There were special touches everywhere, from the cute monogrammed bridal party robes, to the fun chalk boards throughout the venue to direct their guests.  The rustic theme of burlap was carried through from the front door wreaths to the beautiful tablescape of floral pieces at the reception.  Christy looked so very elegant in her walk down the aisle in her garden wedding as she met with Justin to become his wife!  From the smiles on their faces you could tell this was a long awaited moment!  After the ceremony the real party began with dueling pianists that kept everyone having a great time until late into the evening.  A sendoff for the couple with sparklers from family and friends held a special surprise the for Christy and Justin – a jam packed stuffed-till-you-couldn’t-stuff anymore, tree-limb-adorned get away truck!!!  Needless to say, they were detained from a quick exit thanks to some very special friends!  :)  It was a wonderful day for this couple that deserved it and the happy memories of this special day will surely last a lifetime!  Happiness to you both and thanks for letting us be a part of it!!

Brooke + Jordan | Wedding Sneak Peek

We absolutely LOVE this location for weddings and Brooke and Jordan chose the perfect theme for such a beautiful early morning lakeside wedding!  Nautical was evident everywhere – from the homemade lanterns the bridesmaids carried to the headpieces they wore,  as well as the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnière boating knots that really popped against their navy colored sports jackets.  Love to see when our couples design their weddings with a flair – they chose their wedding party members to include a groomsmaid for Jordan and bridesman on Brooke’s side,  they provided an adorable fan for each guest that included a wedding themed search – a –word for them to enjoy as they awaited the ceremony.  And Brooke’s dad performed the sweetest ceremony beside the waters edge.  Family ties were seen throughout including the choice of their wedding date – now Brooke, her mother and grandmother hold something very unique and special in common: the same wedding date, three generations in a row!  Brooke also wore her grandmother’s beautiful gloves that she wore in her wedding in 1949. Brooke walked the aisle carrying such an amazing brooch bouquet that was filled with heirloom pieces from her family’s past. Wow what a stunning complement it was to her wedding gown!  The reception that awaited provided their guests with early morning brunch as they mingled and celebrated to a live band!  Keeping with the nautical theme, these two left in none other than the most appropriate way - on a boat - which was driven by the dad of one of our past sweet brides!  So much fun!  We wish Brooke and Jordon the best and thanks for the opportunity we had in celebrating with you and your families lakeside!
