Leslie & Robert | Wedding Sneak Peek

It was an honor and our pleasure to be asked to photograph the beautiful wedding of Leslie and Robert.  What a wonderful couple who truly shared their love with all who had the privilege of knowing them.  A few short weeks after the wedding, Robert lost his battle with cancer and left all of us with a void that words cannot express. With Leslie’s permission, we wanted to share a few of our favorite images from their wedding in hopes to show the happiness and joy Robert and Leslie experienced on their special day.  Our heart goes out to Leslie and all of those whose lives were touched by Robert.

Terra & Nikolaus | Wedding Sneak Peek

We had the privilege of meeting Terra when we photographed her beautiful family a few years ago.  So when we got the call that she was going to be getting married and they wanted US to share in her big day – we were thrilled!!  Terra and Nikolaus had a gorgeous venue, The Clubhouse on Highland, in Birmingham, which made for such an elegant occasion.  They had amazing floral pieces throughout, beautifully crafted by Sarah P., who was also an awesome coordinator and helped pull off an amazing day for the happy couple.  I think one of our favorite moments of the day was when Terra made her grand bridal entrance – the audience was silent and the only sound that you heard was Nikolaus’ gasp as he caught first sight of her.  A very excited groom, to say the least.  Beautiful ceremony, sweet first kiss and embrace, many friends and family present to celebrate, and lots of fun dancing into the evening!  Leaving under a spray of sparklers, these two were off to their honeymoon – and to many many wonderful years together!!
