We absolutely LOVE this location for weddings
and Brooke and Jordan chose the perfect theme for such a beautiful early
morning lakeside wedding! Nautical was
evident everywhere – from the homemade lanterns the bridesmaids carried to the headpieces
they wore, as well as the groom and
groomsmen’s boutonnière boating knots that really popped against their navy
colored sports jackets. Love to see when
our couples design their weddings with a flair – they chose their wedding party
members to include a groomsmaid for Jordan and bridesman on Brooke’s
side, they provided an adorable fan for
each guest that included a wedding themed search – a –word for them to enjoy as
they awaited the ceremony. And Brooke’s
dad performed the sweetest ceremony beside the waters edge. Family ties were seen throughout including
the choice of their wedding date – now Brooke, her mother and grandmother hold
something very unique and special in common: the same wedding date, three
generations in a row! Brooke also wore
her grandmother’s beautiful gloves that she wore in her wedding in 1949. Brooke
walked the aisle carrying such an amazing brooch bouquet that was filled with
heirloom pieces from her family’s past. Wow what a stunning complement it was
to her wedding gown! The reception that
awaited provided their guests with early morning brunch as they mingled and
celebrated to a live band! Keeping with
the nautical theme, these two left in none other than the most appropriate way -
on a boat - which was driven by the dad of one of our past sweet brides! So much fun!
We wish Brooke and Jordon the best and thanks for the opportunity we had
in celebrating with you and your families lakeside!

Kathy + Warren | Wedding Sneak Peek
This wedding was such a sweet occasion held at the Guest
House in Tallassee. You could feel the LOVE
in the air all day in anticipation leading up to Kathy and Warren getting
‘Hitched’ - A ceremony not soon to be forgotten with their
personalized vows which left not a dry eye in the house. The couple's unique theme for their wedding
was evident throughout, from his
stunning cowboy hat and blue jeans to her custom designed wedding gown and
boots. Patsy with Dream Day Weddings did
an amazing job with this event! One
highlight that we adored was Patsy’s design of the bride’s lovely brooch
bouquet filled with many of the pieces holding special meaning for Kathy. As the couple celebrated at their reception
with family and friends everyone enjoyed the delicious BBQ and Crawfish catered
by the great folks at White Wings! Congrats
to you both from FCP!!
