Calling All Graduating Seniors!

Hey Seniors!

Do you want your senior portraits to look just like everyone else? --

Same boring 'cookie-cutter' style indoor backgrounds?

Same stale 'look here and smile' poses?

Same super expensive portrait packages that really fail to capture the real you?

ummmm - probrably not .......

Do you want portraits that both YOU and YOUR PARENTS will be proud of for years to come?

ummmm - that would be nice .....

Then we are the photographers for you!

We provide our seniors with a photography experience that they will enjoy --
and stunning, expressive, artistic portraits that everyone will absolutely love.

And best of all we won't 'break the bank'.

Our packages start at under $200.00 and include sitting fee, up to 3 outfit changes and finished prints. We do some in-studio shots with cool backgrounds and then followup with an exciting outdoor session that will really set you apart from the crowd.

Be sure to visit the SENIOR PORTRAITS and SENIOR SESSION TIPS pages on our website to see some examples of our work and then call or email us today and we will send you our latest "Senior Portrait" price brochure.

Just Engaged?

The month of February is always a very popular month for couples becoming engaged.
If you have just announced your engagement you have a very exciting time ahead of you as you plan for the "Big Day". Many important questions await answers. When will the wedding be? Will it be traditional or innovative? What is our budget for our wedding? What is the location of the wedding and reception? Who will be in the bridal party? What kind of dress do I want? What about the cake/food? Do we want a D.J. or a live band? How about a Limo? The list seems to go on forever. To ensure that your wedding is everything that you dream it to be requires careful planning and then making educated decisions.
One very important decision facing all couples is regarding photography of their wedding. Do you go with a professional or ask a friend or relative to take on this weighty responsibility? As with nearly everything related to the wedding industry -- hiring a professional wedding anything [planner, caterer, florist, videographer, photographer, etc.] is not cheap. The thought may be that in order to make the budget stretch a little further you can do some of these things yourself or ask a close friend, relative or workmate to help out with their particular area of expertise. This idea is great if you have actually seen the end result of their labor -- [attended a wedding they planned, tasted a wedding cake they baked, seen the video of a wedding they produced, or viewed an album of wedding photo's they have shot themselves] -- and you are happy with this product for your wedding. An important thought when it comes to selecting a professional service for your wedding is that quite often a true professional has many years of experience perfecting his or her craft. They are not experimenting with this very important event in your life. They know what can and sometimes does happen at weddings that may require them to call on past experience to make things run smoothly - often without anyone even noticing. No amount of money can replace a ruined wedding cake or botched photographs. You cannot redo your wedding. When the day is over, your guests have all gone home and the dress is packed away - the memories of this day is what remains - the quality of the services you have selected can and will bring back memories that can be of happiness and joy or sadness and utter disappointment. Please take the time to make educated decisions when planning your wedding. Ask questions when meeting with your wedding vendors. Ask to see recent testimonials from current clients. Make sure that you understand all that comes with each package or plan that they offer. Today wedding photographers abound. Some with a great deal of experience shooting weddings and some with very little. Many offer a variety of photography package options at various price points. Our advice is to be well informed - then make your decision based on the information. Our studio was built on giving each of our clients beautiful photographs and quality service at an affordable price. Please feel free to contact us today and we will be happy to discuss your wedding in detail, answering any questions you may have regarding our studio and the services we offer. You can go to the contact us page on our website and drop us an email or call us at 334-312-7762. If you are newly engaged we say CONGRATULATIONS! and have fun planning your wedding!

Bridal Show Recap

We had a great time at the "All about Weddings" Bridal show Sunday. Thanks so much to everyone who stopped in to meet us and see all we have to offer in the way of wedding photography. We have scheduled several studio appointments already and are quickly booking out the remaining Saturdays we have available in 2009 and even some 2010 dates. Please don't wait too long to contact us if you would like us to be your wedding photographers. Our couples really appreciate the fact that we offer "all day" wedding day coverage by two photographers at no additional charge -- regardless of the package they choose. This fact along with the beautiful print album and DVD slideshow that comes with each of our packages has made Fountain City Portraits one of the most sought after wedding photography teams in the southeast. We thank you and the hundreds of couples like you who have made our business a tremendous success. We look forward to being a part of many beautiful weddings this year and years to come.

A note of Thanks!

With the coming of the new year we want to take a moment and say a heart felt THANK YOU! to all of our wonderful clients who have made 2008 an exceptional year for FCP! We have such an amazing job to be able to share the special moments in the lives of all those who chose us to capture their memories in photographs. It's hard to put into words the way we are touched when a young couple come to our studio for the first time, spend time with us during their engagement session and wedding, getting to know them, their family and friends, and then have them return to have their maternity and precious newborn portrait sessions when the time comes. The beautiful families that have a family portrait and then return again as their sons and daughters become seniors, who also call on us when they become engaged themselves. What a rewarding line of work we have to be a part of these happy and exciting occasions! So again we say to all of you --THANKS-- for your kind support of us and our studio! We really do appreciate you all!!!
